Brand Strategy · 2024
A shared identity for a cultural programme run by its own neighbours.
Common Ground runs free workshops, film nights and reading clubs across six community centres. The programme is organised by volunteers, so the identity had to work in the hands of people with no design training.

Challenge
Each centre made its own posters in its own style. Residents did not know the events were connected, and the programme struggled to show funders the full scale of its work.
Approach
We designed a poster kit built on coloured paper and one stencil-style typeface, plus a simple website where each centre publishes its own calendar. Training took one afternoon per centre.
Result
The six centres now publish under one name. Attendance is recorded in one place for the first time, which helped the programme renew its main grant for three more years.
